Our water lilies are enjoying the hot summer and have been blooming regularly. We recently had a ten-lily-day! We were close to an unprecedented eleven-lily-day but it didn’t happen… YET.

A seven lily day!
My apologies for the unexpected delay since my last post. If I’d known I wasn’t going to post for a bit I’d’ve said something. But it was nothing more than work and life and in the meantime I’ve been taking photos and have gotten a few good ones to share with you. I’m even going to share some not good ones just because it’s fun. In any case, today is a seven lily day! Enjoy.
Blooming
A pair of yellow water lilies came up next to each other, and I decided to capture them through the day as they opened up. I hope you enjoy it!
Yellow and Green
When my husband insisted on putting plants into our pond, I wasn’t as keen. But he was definitely right about the water lilies – and now we regularly talk about it being a “5 lily day” when there are that many in bloom. Just gorgeous.
