When my husband insisted on putting plants into our pond, I wasn’t as keen. But he was definitely right about the water lilies – and now we regularly talk about it being a “5 lily day” when there are that many in bloom. Just gorgeous.

When we were at the Botanical Garden all last week for my son’s camp, there was the prettiest water lily blooming in the stream. I took several photos. The next day, there were three in bloom. Of course, that day I didn’t have my camera.
