While on a break from my meeting today I spotted these birds (which I had seen before, but this time I finally got a picture that someone besides me could actually see them in). Are these ibis? If they are white ibis they are juvenile but I haven’t seen any white ibis around and honestly this is the first time I have ever seen these birds on our campus. This is about a mile from the Columbia River. Any thoughts?
Sometimes I think a dictionary that was simply photos of things to define them could be useful. This would be dappled sunlight.

Turns out my cat is extremely tolerant of me stacking stuff on her. Sometimes the duck is on her head. Sadly, I don’t always have the ability to take a picture of the result because she’s in my lap and I don’t have a camera handy.
Sometimes you have to stop and take a picture of the roses….

This is my next door neighbor’s cat, Bubba. He has decided he really likes sitting on our basalt boulders. He’s very entertaining. (not as great a photo as I’d like, but I was pretty far away using a long lens).
Okay, actually where I live I do have sunshine an awful lot of the time. But this guy? He takes it with him wherever he goes.
It’s a good day when I see a bunny as I walk around at work or by the river. It’s a great day when I spot three at once and they let me get a picture!
For everyone else, pink phlox is an early spring flower but for some reason mine is late every year. It’s really coming into its own now, and it’s lovely.
I wondered why the feeders were getting empty so rapidly. Then I saw this guy.
